Kitni Girhain Baqi Hain is a series based on real life situation and stories. It is about Nuzhat and how one sms sent as a joke gets an unbelievable reaction from people around her, where she discovers how similar the mind set of an educated person can be to a total illiterate.
It is about Shama left alone by her family and how in her loneliness she befriends a young man on the phone. It is about young Kiran who gets raped by her brother in law and the choices her family has to make, to support her or to hand the culprit in. Kitni Girhain Baqi Hain is a satire based on the ironies and harsh realities of a woman's life, but also gives hope to, and creates awareness among women.
Kitni Girhain Baqi Hain (Urdu: کِتنی گِرہیں بَاقی ہیں) (meaning How many more knots are left (to unknot)) is an anthology series of 90 minute telefilms promoted as a "collection of assorted love stories" which premiered on March 27, 2011 on Hum TV. It is based on short stories on real life situations. The series airs at weekends and features actors such as Angeline Malik, Ayesha Omar,Shahood Alvi, Faisal Rehman, Ayeza Khan, Saboor Ali, Urwa Hocane, Imran Abbas Naqvi, Eshita Mehboob, Sajal Ali, Mawra Hocane, Maria Wasti, Azfar Rehman, Samina Ahmad and Sunita Marshall.
